Please Sir, can I have some more?

I'm really glad that you got up and actually made your own breakfast this morning. But really ....couldn't you have left me just the tiniest, little drop of milk for my morning coffee? That's what I get for only having about a quart of milk in the house when I go to sleep. Even my kids knew better than to take the last of the milk! Ok....that's my little rant for the day. The black coffee is beginning to kick in so I'm done.

Have a great day everyone!

True story

Pet peeves, not to be confused with pet dogs or reptiles, tend to get under my skin. Sure they're easy to nurture and you rarely have to scout around for something to feed them because once you know your pet peeves well and truly, there are constant opportunities to feed them. One of my personal favourites is "Baby on Board" signs in the rear windows of vehicles. Isn't it enough that there is a person in the car??? Seriously! But wait, there's more. What makes it even worse is when that driver is the one driving like an idiot! That makes me absolutely crazy. You're trying to make sure I drive properly by posting the sign but you drive like an idiot. Yeah, okay....I get that. NOT!!! Even worse is the moron that buys himself or herself the vanity license plate making it SO much easier to remember their license plate number when they begin driving like idiots.

It should hurt to be stupid. Truly, it should.

But wait.....here I am AGAIN!

Wow.....twice in one day! Who knew?!?! I was re-reading my friend Diana's Facebook page and liberated this quote. It seems particularly appropriate today!

‎"Whatever you want in life, start today. Not tomorrow ... today. Let it be a small beginning ... a tiny beginning. Your happiness depends on starting today ... every day."

A New Era!

I haven't written in a very long time but today begins a new era. I am really excited because I am going to enter the 80 days at YVR contest. I know that this is something that I can do. I do believe that the contest was designed just for me!!! Now I just need to figure out how to use a video camera so that I can make my video-graphic submission! I've put out a request on my Facebook page asking my friends if anyone has a video camera that they can lend me to video my contest entry. My sister, Patricia and our friend Laurane were SO supportive last night that what started out as a hesitant "I'd like to do this" has now turned into an "I KNOW I can do this!".

Just checked my Facebook and already the help is pouring in! A friend with a friend in the film industry! Hurray! Think good thoughts!

Talk later!
